Amazing “new” eatery! I just want to thank the new owner and chef, Simon, for making me a gluten-free version of the meatball sub and being super accommodating about it. He effortlessly changed up the dish, adding a tasty little herb salad to make up for the bun, which was not necessary but very much appreciated. On a cold and rainy day it was THE PERFECT LUNCH, bursting with flavour and very perfectly prepared.

I have good news and bad news. The good news is I've found one of the best cheesecakes I've ever eaten: beautiful texture, just the right sweetness level. An absolute masterpiece. The bad news is you'll have to go to Hermanus to eat it ... wait, that's not bad news at all. What a gem of a coffee shop, with friendly staff and owner, great vibe, and excellent coffee. And did I mention that cheesecake?

Absolutely horrible experience. The chef was rude from start to end. I went to work from the coffee shop and have breakfast during load shedding. When I arrived I asked the waitress if I could please have a spot by a plug point which she happily showed me to. Then while trying to plug my laptop in the chef shouts rudely across the restaurant “there is NO POWER!” Um obviously I know that - that’s why I came to a restaurant to work! But I stayed calm and just asked if the plugs weren’t working. Cause I could see all their lights were on and kitchen was operating as normal. He then rudely went on to say “we only have enough power for cooking blah blah blah”. Shame, I definitely won’t be returning to this sad place. Bacon was also badly burnt black. And my egg was soft so couldn’t be eaten. Shocking experience.

Family friendly u0026 relaxed atmosphere. We popped here for breakfast u0026 enjoyed a pastries and healthy fruit and yoghurt pots; great value for money as portions are large. GREAT coffee too. Staff a friendly and welcoming.

Note; no high chairs for babies.
