A very short but wonderful path situated next to Grotto Beach. Approximately 2km in distance, you walk through the sand dunes under the canopy of the milk woods.

It’s very sheltered, I would do this walk with 2 or more people for safety. You can access the trail from the beach parking, or via the street on top.

Very easy walk with nice views. We were lucky enough to spot whales outside of the season. Trail becomes ugly when it continues next to a busy road just before hermanus so if you don’t have to go to town just turn around there.

This was an amazing walk, it is a bit of a long one, not more than half an hour but extremely easy and its very relaxing and beautiful. Am sure you could take a picnic to have somewhere in the forest but be sure to pick up all litter, amazing photo opportunities and an overall great walk. 100% recommended .

Great journey to soak up what there is to offer. Brilliant views of the ocean and beach. Along the path module planets are placed at intervals. Its a short enjoyable walk.

I went and stayed at this place for one night...I went on a morning walk along the Clifton path and found it very interesting as there was a old harbour showing the epic history of the and a lot of people of people greeting you in their own way...also there many small epitome with which you can get yourself photographed...I recommend all the travellers to spend one two to three days at this location to enjoy the serene beauty of this place...

Gets quite windy and cold here so go prepared with lots of layers. Good for the view of the water and a stroll on the sand. The Cliff path in Hermanus is a good walk parallel to the water so it means good views and the possibility of spotting whales. Naturally, all visitors to the town will make there way here at some point, whale season or not.

My daughter just calls it the fairy forest and somehow one could expect that one of this little creatures shows up any moment. The old milkwood trees form a canopy just letting through enough light giving it the magical fantasy look. From time to time you get a glimps of the beach and ocean. Take your kids and have a stroll.
