We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hermanus Dorpshuys. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was tasty, and the service was top notch. If you need a place to stay in Hermanus, you don't need to look any further.

Quit and tranquil. The hosts are sooooooo helpful,. The service is amazing and the rooms and en suites clean, roomy and once again - tranquil. The breakfast with homemade butter, marmalade and breads, is fantastic. A really great place for a restorative getaway.

Very cozy and familiar atmosphere. We can highly recommend this accomodation. Very good English-style breakfast including stylish, white butler ugloves. :-)

Koos and Cecilia are just the perfect Host and Hostess. Rooms. Is Beatifull and clean breakfast is outstanding

Imagine waking up feeling really good after a good night sleep only to be reprimanded by the hostess???? How insensitive of me... I phoned the reception in the morning to ask for an iron to iron my shirt... Unknown to me I woke up the entire house becouse I called the receptionist and was shouted at becouse I should have known that the phone rings throughout the entire house and that this will disturb everyone. If you want to feel like staying in an institution, booking at the right place. Thank you for upsetting my day.

I called at 7:03. No one shouted. You were upset becouse I phones reception to asked for an ironing board and told me that by doing so I woke everyone up. You then walked away upset! Of you a 24 hour service, How does someone get service during the night or early hours of the morning if not by phone?That is the truth. Call me dramatic I call it bad service.

We have stayed at Dorpshuys before and loved it. Wonderful accommodations, comfortable beds, exceptional hosts and divine breakfast. We will definitely go back there in the future.

What a gem in Hermanus the owners Koos and Cecilia are the perfect hosts also a beautiful and comfortable room lovely crisp clean white linen a real diamond in the rough I will highly recommend it, it's just outside of the centre the town nice and quiet and relaxing atmosphere
