The guest house is conveniently located, the cliff path is right opposite. You can walk to the waterfront and many shops. We hardly used the car. Parking is safe. The room was very spacious, comfortable bed with quality linen. Fast internet. The view was spectacular. The only reason I am giving it a 4 and not a 5 is due to the low water pressure in the shower. This was such a dissapointment because I couldnt take a proper shower because the pressure is non existent and the water was lukewarm. This was not great.

This is going to be a little long, so you make up your mind. We arrived before 14:00 in Hermanus, and called the guest house to see if we could store our luggage there for the check-in later. Management was quite rude and did not want to entertain the idea in any shape or format. We arranged our luggage to stay with our shuttle service. Room was spacious. Bathroom even more so, with a really large shower. Problem with shower is that the floor was a little slippery. There was mold on the ceiling and cornice of the bedroom... Bed had a fitted and top sheet on first night. 2nd night had no top sheet. 2nd night had no hot water when we arrived at 9,30pm. Management said one of the other guests had got carried away with water usage and did apologize.On the first morning we could not make any coffee, as the cups had a crystallized substance on the rim. (almost like something had been left in the suacwr when the cup was stored on it. This was a hit and miss for me. Due to the mold issue, it pushed it to the point that I would not go there again

+: The room was nice, modern, big. Really nice bathroom. The place to enjoy the breakfast was lovely.

-: Unfortunately the carpet did a bit smell and I could hear the fridge during the night. The pool wasn't at all like on the picture and was as big as a bathtub.

Rudest telephonic conversation I have encountered in my life. Trying to make a reservation and ask for information was followed by a loud yawn on the other side of the phone and the tone of voice was less than friendly and helpful. Also the phone was put down with no salutation whatsoever, so unfortunately my choice was made for me.
