First of all, take something to deal with the nausea, don’t just deny it. Besides that the guide was amazing and all the stuff were really kind and helpful. We saw a lot of different whales in groups. We saw different species and a mating group of 8 whales. It was definitely something I wouldn’t want to miss. If you’re in the area you must take this tour. There’s also toilets on the boat and on the deck and you can get water or some light drinks and muffins before the tour starts. In reference to the video of the tour, I think it’s really awesome angels to see the whales and the boat with the people with the drone, it really takes beautiful videos of all the experience, but it’s still a little pricey to get it on hard drive after the tour, It costs 360R.

We went as a family of 4. 2 adults and 2 teenagers (13u002615).
The tour is very well managed and the skipper was nice u0026 knowledgeable but easy going. The boat is good and safe.
We got lucky and saw plenty.

A drone will make a fantastic movie to keep your memories.

What an amazing experience, made even better by such an amazing company! I was so impressed and grateful for the knowledge, passion and kindness that was shown by each member of the SRC crew, even little Brooke who was eager to point out the different whales to us in the pre-tour briefing. It really made the experience of whale watching 100x better (and that’s saying a lot considering we saw two beautiful gentle giants on our trip ????). I would definitely return to Hermanus and go whale watching with SRC again. Thank you for making this such an unforgettable experience for a whale obsessed girl!

Absolutely awesome experience. If you love nature... must see whales close up. Priceless. Had a whale of a time !!
Knowledgeable staff, excellent guide, boat and all round experience. You get water, sanitiser and a sweet for nausea ( i recommend taking a tablet if you prone to sea sickness).

Very good guide with a lot of passion for whales and their protection. On the Boat we had some front seats, when sitting on the side it is likely to get wet if it has some swell.
In case you want to stay try or suffer quickly from sea sickness better stay inside at the rear of the boat. The organization overall was very smooth and efficient. I can really recommend it.

I didn't go out on cruise but was just as well looked after by staff, shown access to cliff path to "old harbour" received phone call to say cruise back in 20mins.
Husband u0026 our visitors really enjoyed their trip, got lots of photos u0026 bought a copy of the drone video.
