The wine tasting selection was great! Staff very attentive. We came in with our 2 year old so the garden area was the best option. For wine fanatics it's certainly a great place to taste the local wines within the Hermanus area

The Wine Glass in Hermanus definitely does not disappoint. It has a vast variety of wines and tastings, even under the specific varietals.
The food is good, the Thai mussels were divine. Some dishes could do with more ciabatta on the side (especially the baked feta, which only had one slice of ciabatta, toasted and halved, not enough bread for such a block of feta). Other than that the food, wine and atmosphere was great, we went twice over the long weekend. Rob, the front of house manager is a great host!

Exellent design, excellent service. The only drawback is not due to them: they have no views. If you can still live without it you can get here here excellent brunch or dinner surrounded of wine bottles from SA.

This is a restaurant that sets itself well above every other restaurant. The ambience is great and Rob has a excellent command of the restaurant and is always open to a lekker conversation and strives to always improve the food coming out from the kitchen and wine coming from the bar. Definitely eat here if you want a great experience! They have deliciously large selection of food and wine. The oriental line fish was excellent as well as the kudu carpaccio. If you’re feeling indulgent, spoil yourself with the tiramisu or the dark chocolate torte

Great wine tastings for anyone on a student budget! Lovely setting, surrounded by art galleries. Will definitely go back with the rents and try the food. If you’re a student that doesn’t waste your money on clothes you don’t need, you’ll definitely be able to eat here.

Delicious food, with a relaxing atmosphere at the perfect pace. Micklem, our waiter was friendly and attentive. Rob, the manager was very welcoming and made us feel like locals even though we’re visiting from Ireland. There’s so much attention to detail here, everything is done exceptionally. It’s a must visit if in Hermanus. Will definitely come back next time we visit.
