This place brings back old memories. When I was still in school. ( In the 90's). My old best friend's grandmother used to live there. My friend and I used to sleep over and spent some time with Marilyn and Jan. If you get to know them, you would see they are lovely people who took my friend and myself on outings. I actually miss those days. We had fun.

Some what of both a backpackers place and cheap hotel in Hermanus where we booked a double room. The room itself was spacious, but when you enter it smelled a bit like an elderly home, probably because everything in the room was around 40 years old. The breakfast was very good, the staff lovely.

It's was..... interesting. My first thought was that it is a guest house but it's more a backpackers really. It was a nice stay not something I'm really use to. The staff was friendly and the rooms are really clean. If you want TV in your room and air-conditioning unfortunately it's not available. It was a bit strange that they had a permanent resident that you have to share a bathroom with, that is why I took the other room with a private bathroom. But then again it's not a hotel so I understand. It was a nice stay but I prefer my air-conditioning and a bit more privacy. But a nice stay. The location is next to a busy road so it was a bit noisy. It was ok

This is a hidden gem! My crew and I stopped in for the first night of our Cape to Cairo road trip. We loved it so much we stayed for a second night. I wish we had a place like this in the USA.

Beautiful place. Kitckens are self service and stocked with cutlery, crockery and cofee too. Slept like a rock. Staff a little paranoid over payment, guess lockdown still taking its toll on the tourism community.

Lovely experience. The owner is such an amazing woman, loving, caring and patient. She gives a lovely tour of her place. Definitely going there for the yummy breakfast this week.
