An unplanned overnight stay at this Beautifully decorated Bu0026B. Close to centre of Town. Excellent breakfast with fresh home-made bread and muffins. Annemarie went out of her way to make our stay perfect. Recommended a lovely place for dinner. Super comfortable bed with fresh linen. Highly recommended.

Such an amazing 3 night stay at The Potting Shed! Annamarie and Dave were absolutely wonderful, their attention to detail was outstanding. I let them know it was my boyfriend’s birthday and they went ahead and decorated the room which was an awesome touch. Breakfast each morning was perfect. COVID-19 protocols are in place and they just make you feel comfortable and safe. Dave was insightful about the area and the property is so close to everything you want to do in Hermanus. Definitely will be booking with them again!

My wife and I stayed for almost a week in January. Perfectly central, breakfast was great and our private patio was the highlight! The only minor issues; the parking was a bit tight when there’s a full house and our room was very hot and May need a bigger aircon. But regardless, definitely deserves your visit!

Lovely little guesthouse in a great location. Just a quick walk down to the cliff walk where you can take in amazing views heading either towards town or the harbor where a few of the whale watching charters head out of. Annamarie is absolutely charming to talk to and she and her staff whip up a great breakfast (the crepes were fantastic!). Bed was slightly smaller than our other stays but the room was well appointed and comfy. Loved having a bit of an outdoor space to watch the stars at night.

Beautiful place to stay, very clean central and close to the beach /old Harbour too and restaurants. Their recommendations of the activities to do in Hermanus was also very helpful and they are able to help book for you too.They make the best home baked bread, pancakes, cakes and other goodies too

Centrally located and close to all amenities. You can walk to the CBD and where most restaurants are located. We received a warm welcome from the hosts and the staff were friendly throughout our stay. Our room was spacious with a patio and we had our breakfast brought to our room every morning. The room is beautifully decorated with a lovely shower, comfy bed, and clean linen. Our stay here was a wonderful one.

This is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The guesthouse is close to a whale watching spot and in walking distance from Hermanus city centre. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Try their delicious pancakes at breakfast.
