Wonderful, safe and cozy place to stay in Jo'burg. I needed to get some work done and the Internet speed was great... international WebEx and voice call no problem. Breakfast was delicious, the mushrooms are cooked perfectly. And in warm weather I'm sure the pool is great... But even hanging out on the patio with some tea is very relaxing. A few blocks away from the Mandela house and Rosebank Mall.

You couldn't ask for more in a guest house. Huge bedroom with a large en suite bathroom and a separate lounge/kitchen, in a (relatively) safe suburb of Joannesburg, 20 minutes by cab from Sandton. They'd thought of everything: tea/coffee, iron, toiletries, wifi... the room lacked nothing. Breakfast was fantastic - wide selection of breads, fruit, cereal and a fully cooked breakfast if you wanted it. But it was the service that really stood out. Nothing was too much trouble. I left my credit card there and they even drove half an hour to the company I was working at to hand it back to me. Outstanding! I will return. (By the way, I am not a friend or relative of the owners, I just think praise should be given where it is due.)

A very nice home away from home. It's quiet even though it's in the busy hub of Rosebank. Rosebank mall is 2km away and easy access to the highway and major bus routes.

My family and I stayed at Avondhu for one month and our stay there was an incredible one. , it felt like our home. Zoe, Jemina and Natasha were our godsend, they made our stay a pleasure, thank you ladies. Will definitely recommend this Bu0026B. From Arivya, Sashika and Nishan.

Place needs a bit of a look into some of their room fixtures. Eg roof fan, towels, bed side lamp. Staff also not able to help without phoning the owner. Manager was never on site.....if she was we didn't see her

Nice place ... nice breakfast .I went with my entire family and they are happy. Can't wait to come back again .
