I went to this place in April 2022 on a Sunday night (long weekend). Had a great time! Fun and friendly crowd. Music was very good. Went again 28th May '22. Not as great as previous visit. Different type of crowd. People were very very drunk. It got worse as the night progressed. Some men were forward. Just out of the blue, grabbed my friend' s hand to dance, just whisked her around on the dance floor like Speedy Gonzalez! Later on another guy came up to this friend's husband , before my friend knew what was happening he was swept away on the dance floor! Although it was hilarious to us, my friend's husband was quite surprised and embarrassed! I understand the bar needs to make money but as the night continued, some other people got ridiculously intoxicated which was a total put off for me and my family. As we took our leave, a fight was about to break out. My earlier experience there was extremely pleasant and enjoyable in comparison to the latter, so much so that my hubby refuses to go back there. I would like to believe that it's not always like this! I suppose different night, different crowd??

I would like everyone to know just how utterly disappointed I am at the bouncers and manager at Chicago's. Following a lady collapsing on the dance floor and the DJ requesting anyone with medical experience to help the lady, I immediately went to go help the lady as I am a medic. She had dislocated her knee. After stabilizing her and trying to calm her down, I was screamed at by 2 bouncers, who refused to listen. I was then pushed out and the lady was then dragged out by her limbs and placed on a bench. I was then told to "go home". The lady who I helped was very appreciative of the help I provided, she agreed how this behavior by Chicago's bouncers was extremely disappointing. I will say that the waiters at Chicago's are very friendly. This matter was between the bouncers and the on duty manager who sympathized with the bouncers.

RE the owners response:
I am extremely disappointed with the owners response.
I did not insult the bouncers or anyone from the Chicago's team, I specifically asked them to calm down (as they were shouting at me) and asked them to allow me to them explain what was happening to the lady.

The lady did manage to walk after "10 minutes" only because I assisted with relocating her patella (knee cap), if I didn't then she most likely wouldn't have been able to walk out.
I saw the lady afterwards and she completely agreed with me on how wrong the bouncers behavior was and said she was going to complain to management the next morning.

If your team needs assistance with training on how to handle medical situations please let me know. As it is evident their training on how to handle a medical situation is sorely lacking. Manhandling medical personnel is not how it's done.

I do the Karaoke twice every two weeks on Thursday nights with Karaoke Joe (my dad) and I must say it does draw a lot of talent and attention, love the vibe especially knowing my homie Twisted Synergy is holding it down from upstairs for all the lyties and young at heart????????????????

We had such an awesome time at Chicago Piano Bar on Saturday 31st Oct 2020 for Halloween. The owners were very accommodating and met our every need. The food was spectacular. We'll be back ????????????????

What a great spot for a night out. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The music and venue is great. The crowd varies from 20's to 60's and has a great vibe. Will definitely visit again.
