Shocking treatment of animals and birds. Do not support this store. The spca needs to get involved. The manager refuses to sell them to a lady that wants to buy them to save them. The manager even laughed at our complaint. Looking at the ratings the negative comments are accurate, I'm sure any positive reviews are from staff friends and family. This place should not be allowed to sell any animals whatsoever. Shocking. Disgusting. Negligence.

Horrified by the service received. I purchased R1500 worth of fish and I see the next day that the one of my fish had died. Called the store as I’d like to come and get a new fish and the owner refused saying it’s not his fault if he sticks defective fish and hung up! He obviously doesn’t care about future customers, it’s all about the money with them. They also seem to treat their animals very badly. Better to go to a place that actually takes care of their animals.

They didn't tell my friend beforehand that he needed a heater thing for his fish tank as he had gone to them weeks before collecting his fish from them to check if he had everything he needed and to get what he didn't. His fish almost died, we had to rush back to get a heater for the tank to save the fish after he got them. Otherwise they were good.

I really don't like this pet store to sell animals, i bought a bird from here before and i do some proper research on birds and the lady who helped me was telling me what to do, she told me to: get a cage that was extremely small by the way and to get it sun flower seeds. There were so many dead fish in the tanks! Also the birds outside lived in horrible conditions and the cages/tanks differently not appropriate size for one of those animals like the bird cages outside weren't even appropriate size for one yet there were over 10 of them in the cage same cage!!!!

Do NOT recommend it!!!!

The animals aren’t treated very well. There’s a bunch of rabbits in small hamster cages with saw dust. Saw dust is toxic for rabbits. I saw a live fish on the floor by a pipe. We showed someone the fish, he walked so slowly and just threw it back in one of the tanks without giving a second glance. The bird cages have a foul smell and there’s lots of them cramped together.

The care they have for their male bettas is disgusting. They had two left alive and just left the rest deas floating, and they filter the water through all their tanks
