The rooms are nice and the building is well maintained but the service is poor. Wifi is not uncapped, students are only given 4 gigs per day, also very slow in connecting and it doesn't allow multiple devices to connect to it at the same time. The whole building only has one proper study room, you gotta go there off peak hours as it gets full. And also hot water is an issue. You have to wake up very early in the morning to shower with hot water or else you're doomed. The washing machines and dryers are not enough to accommodate the number of students. The dryer room has 3 out of 6 dryers working and it has been like that the whole year, no change at all or plans of fixing/replacing them. Lastly the white guy at reception is very rude to students.

Buzzing with young one coming in from different parts of our country and Africa. Surround by a Nigerian community, from Salon, nail bar, bars, food restaurants, retailers predominantly Nigerian and little bit Ethiopian.

It is not student friendly, terrible WIFI, there are no student representatives thus management takes advantage of students with their lease agreements, the Genesis ladies house are treated like they in boarding school, no Liberty none what so ever, security is very mid. The 1 star is for the room.

It's a student accommodation, and that concludes it all. Their rooms are well done. No complaints.

AN HONEST REVIEW

I stayed at Gateway until my degree completion. They offer great student accommodation with great Amenities… the rooms are fully equipped with everything you will need, its really affordable for the fact that there’s no top up to stay at a luxurious student accom! The security is actually cool, they are understanding and very assisting. When you report something it is attended to. However there’s this man (I won’t mention his name) that everyone fears, both staff and students, mainly because he’s rude af! Shouts at student, shouts at the front desk receptionists. When you want assistance from him you have to always brace yourself because you’ll be embarrassed infront of everyone. That’s actually horrible, students are already academically strained the last thing you want is someone taking his frustrations on you. Ouu the WiFi too, was a problem! Winter there was cold water… wake up early to catch it hot!???? But above all Gateway was actually cool, the saloon, the pool, gym and the transport are great! ????
