Didnt even stay for more than 30 minutes. With empty booze bottles on the grass ( evidently emptied by the personel), 2 Tsotsis doing drugs under my not-closing groundlevel window and after explaining to the staff that clean sheet are generally considered standard in guesthouses, I chose to leave after 20 minutes.

I stayed here with a group of undergraduates as part of a university project and we did not have a good experience. The area isn't very safe and the facilities are quite poor. There are a lot of local men who hang around the property at night who aren't even staying there. We had someone trying to break into several of our rooms in the middle of the night and I ended up having to move the entire group to another facility. When this happened, the owner refused to give me a refund for the remaining nights we had already paid for. I would avoid this facility at all cost. I would give it zero stars but couldn't post this review without selecting at least one star.

Great place for some adrenaline rush. You sleep with one eye open and constantly checking if your car is still where you last parked it. What can pump adrenaline better than that? I trust it is very easy to get on wrong side of the law in the place. The smell of weed is so common here. Should you find yourself broke with almost zero choices whilst in Joburg, this your place. It's better than a night in a police cell.

Too suck.
I booked pick-up service.
But nobody appeared scheduled time.
I waited for 3hours. And then l called to hostel.
But Aaron (manager) told me "Just take a taxi. We can't pick you up." That's all.
I was disapointed about that. Really unkind.
Please dont visit this backpacker.

Spent 3 nights there and felt so scared that I alway slept with one eye open. There are a lot of workers, strange guys and local people hanging around, had always a bad feeling to leave my stuff there when I was on a tour. There is actually no real kitchen, and I couldn't find a fridge at all. I think they re-use the blankets in the dorm without washing.
Stay as far away as possible from this hostel

Stayed for one night while working in JHB - Professional and friendly staff, awesome environment and safe rooms. Clean linen and service with a smile made it a bargain for R110 a night

We visited the place for 2 nights, a very open and good place that can accomotade more than 300 people. The security is high, a well mantained swiming pool. A home away from home. We will visit again
