Wonderful place! Luckily got a room here last minute. We showed up early from an overnight flight and the owner gladly let us check in early and even gave us a suite. Wish we were here longer. The entire place is spotless and meticulously well kept. It's in a nice spot in Melville and an easy walk to some cool bars and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful staff and a most hospitable owner. Stayed for about a week in the 'apartment' overlooking the courtyard and immediately felt at home. Easy access to great bars and restaurants in Melville and the rest of the city. The simple but always satisfying breakfasts were a nice touch. I would go out of my way to stay at the Ginnegaap again.

Absolutely recommend Ginnegaap Guesthouse. Friendly staff and owner.

Neat well kept bedrooms and bathroom. Has everything that you need and really comfortable. Had to make arrangements to get breakfast earlier and they brought it to my room the night before without any trouble.

Each day returning the room was cleaned and just as the first time I wen into it.

Prices are very good and I definitely recommend staying at Ginnegaap.

Had a great time in the guesthouse. Location is great near the night life street and in a neighbourhood mostly residential. I took the Airbnb option and we had room service, fresh towels, coffee and spices each everyday. They also offered a barbecue and appliance. Airbnb option has a breakfast availability paying $9 per breakfast. Employees are super nice and friendly.

Cozy little guesthouse in Melville, close to a number of great restaurants and bars. We had a fantastic 4-night stay whilst in town on business. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. There is also a very friendly cat! This is a lovely place which offers privacy and great security. It is also very quick and easy to get an Uber in this area. It's about 45-60 mins by car to the airports, and about 20 mins by car to Sandton.

It is an amazing place!I love the peace and quietness of the area.The garden,pool and all the friendly stuff.I can definitely recommend it to everyone but If they can add more hours of booking out depending on the check-in time .And definitely coming back soon :) Thank you

Good accommodation and friendly staff. A bit of madness with checking in, room set-ups might put you off depending on taste and it was just personally not for me. Great place nonetheless.
