1 star because I could not give less, spent two hours trying to complete a contract and was told to come the next day because systems were not working. The following we spend an hour just for them to try 5 times again and say their systems are not working, its like being in home affairs. The people who work their also couldn't seem to care at all.

I had gone to istore Cresta to get a business contract for the iPhone 13 Pro. I had advised the saleman I wanted to keep my old number and wanted a certain Vodacom package that was on the Istore website…. This was my experience:

1. The package I wanted that was on the istore website does not exist. So there’s false advertising.

2. It took the salesman 3 x attempts to get the next package I had chosen right. Firstly he chose the wrong and most expensive package, secondary the cheaper package but charging the most expensive price and thirdly got the monthly price right but the package wrong.

3. I was told it takes up to 48 hours for my application to be approved where mine took 6/7 days. Back and forth with documents that needed to be signed on daily basis instead of the salesman knowing what forms Vodacom needed to make the application process seamless. I had to drive to the store at least 4 x from rosebank to make sure the saleman does not make a mistake.

4. The worst thing out of it all and is costing my business a lot of money is that the saleman did NOT request Vodacom to do a number swop so I could keep my business number. I now have to change my number on all our branding materials and get them reprinted as Vodacom cannot do the number change once the contract has been activated. I am now sitting with 2 x numbers for the business and it have been a mission and a time waster trying to change everything to the new number.

5. There is no way to contact the store - it’s so frustration trying to get hold of the salesman to tell them they had made a mistake to avoid such errors mentioned above. I’ve wasted my time and money driving to the store to make sure my application was done properly.

Istore, what are you going to do about this?? Do we need to escalate to the head office of apple?? It’s honestly unacceptable! I feel like you’re just in it for the money and do not keep your customers first in mind. You can see by the other bad reviews this store is getting.

I was sent to the iStore branch in Cresta by the Clearwater branch, I was needing a new battery for my 7 + as it was on 79%. After all the tests to check the phones operation was ok,it was sent into repairs for a battery, the technical guy found the phone had been tampered with by a cell shop installing a cheap generic battery. and now refused to switch on, and a quote was given to me that I refused to accept,
I was referred to the branch manager, who was a very pleasant courteous guy,
We discussed the problem, and I was told I would be given an answer the next day as to what they were prepared to do about my problem,
Well I can now report that the manager in iStore should be made a regional manager for doing backflips for his customer, thank you sir,

I am extremely unhappy with how you guys treated me yesterday when I came in with my friend to purchase an iPhone 13 , I had to wait for an hour and still not assisted I had to leave coz they were closing and I was told to send my docs and come back the following day at 12 and I did that , today I am here and everyone seems so busy and assisting everyone else just not me , the service at the Istore Cresta mall jhb is pathetic, the guy who was supposed to assist me didn’t even acknowledge that I was there to do the purchase ,the store will lose a lot of sales because of their attitude towards some people , at this point I have made up my mind I am never recommending anyone to the Istore by Cresta and I won’t ever be buying there , I told the guys as Well from there that their service is the worst . If they were all busy couldn’t they just let me know and the time for me to wait, the attitude of the people there is very disgusting

Been on the waiting list for almost 2 months for a new iPhone 13. I finally received a message that it is ready for collection while I was away on holiday over Christmas and it would only be held for 48 hours. I phoned the call centre to ask if they could hold it for a little longer as I would only return at a later date. Never heard back and never got to collect my phone. Very disappointing service

Don't use this store if you are getting a Vodacom contract. It is a multi day struggle to get iStore and Vodacom to get their process in place with multiple manual mistakes. Took me 5 days of visiting the store to finally get my phone, only to be told they can't do the sim swap through Vodacom. Would never go through this process again, just go through Vodacom directly.

Staff were not helpful with my questions about payment, and Apple contract policies are remarkable in how restrictive they are. Go through takelot or your service provider if you must have an Apple device, don't go to the "Genius " bar.
