I showed up without reservations to find this place closed due to renovations. The owner was not only kind enough to find me a new place to stay for the night but also gave me a ride to the location. I bet this place will be looking good once those renovations take place.

This is an overall nice experience, where the rooms were clean and the staff were pleasant. There is a kitchen with many different amenities like pots and pans which helps for cooking. They also offer free instant coffee.

The only issues were that the WiFi is really poor (often times you can't get any service in the rooms at night), and getting in and out of the gate isn't super efficient or easy. One other complaint is that the safes in the rooms aren't very secure (see photo)

This is a nice place to stay in Johannesburg. It is a located in a quiet and safe residential area. The staff is really friendly and the rooms are very clean and tidy

Peaceful, tidy and clean, with greenery around. Most friendly staff. It's become one of my most loved hostel.

Very pleasant place, clean, quiet, spacious, well located and exceptionally friendly help full staff very good value. Always my choice when visiting Rosebank.

Great treatment, especially with how to get around JNB. Given every consideration just like at home. Beauty knows all about city, what is safe to do, how to do things and much more. She will put you in touch with drivers, tours, Soweto tour, where to eat out, etc. Get how to on Baz Busor the Red Bus. You need to see Apartheid Museum!!

Best place for first timer on JNB concerned about staying safe - she says avoid downtown except if done by Uber drop and pick-up! YOU NEED TO HAVE UBER HERE- they are the only way.
