OLD FASHIONED Fish & Chips

So rude and unprofessional. I went there and the door was closed, I waved and the staff looked me dead in the face as if I'm crazy and didn't bother to answer me as I was asking if they've closed. The time was 7:40 and they're supposed to close at 21:00.

I don't have a problem with them closing earlier due to whatever unforseen circumstances but don't be rude and still expect people to come back and buy.
This is not the first time I've experienced bad service and attitude from the staff of this establishment.

There’s this this desensitized smell of ammonia and all sorts of nose defining chemicals that linger in this restaurant. The food (chips) were quite nice but the conditions of the restaurant never quite leave the mind. Really horrible. I wish never to enter this place again.

Bought 5 fish and 5 Russian with large chips on Sunday afternoon, everything was over cooked, hard to bite, it felt like leftovers from 3days ago. I called the number provided to call and there was no answer. I'm still not happy for paying so much for unedible food, what a waste of my money.

There food is always great but yesterday the fish was dry and a large chips a lot les than normal

Great slap chips but terrible fish, had no fish spice. I think oil used to fry the fish was not fresh either. I would not recommend the fish here. Place is also not well maintained, can be noticed as soon as you enter the shop.

Good yummy fish and chips, and fresh. Would have been 5 mara some days undercooked deep fry batter, some days forget the sauces u ask for, some days overcook the flesh .. Still, I trust them many times when they got it right!

Best place to go to if you want real slapchips. Not too salty either. No wonder you have queues sneaking otu the door. Going to get worse when we return to pre-pandemic life.
