Gorgeous old Johannesburg house perfectly situated near the media broadcasting centres and universities. The hostess is very welcoming and friendly and makes the most delicious food - you'll want to stay many nights because each breakfast and dinner is different and better than the last !! Also available to book for group brunches :))

Just popped in for a breakfast with my mother. We got such a warm welcome from Somayya and Sis Beauty. Such a peaceful area and the breakfast definitely tasted like a homemade meal of love. Somayya's chakni on eggs is my absolute fave!

I've always loved being a guest at Somayya's. .....she entertains beautifully. I am actually a friend of hers and have always loved the "old world charm" that one feels at her place. She's a charm herself. Was lovely seeing her again after a long time. Will definitely have to make a habit of visiting????????????????????????

Somayya Gangat has a beautiful home. I stayed with her from 24 to 26 June 2019. She is a creative person that enjoy cooking for her guests. I did not find the need to go anywhere for super. She cooked amazing food for breakfast and super. She is friendly. You have to experience this South African hospitality. Perfect for international, corporate and holiday travel. If you have to ever visit Johannesburg then give this guesthouse a try. Thank you Somayya for the warm bed, great food and lots of love.

Came for two days, stayed for seven.
If you are looking for a home from home, then this is the place for you. Not only was Somayya generous with her food, but also with her advice especially for someone who knew not a soul in Joburg. She freely gave advice and guidance and as I will be travelling to Joburg more often, this will be my place of choice to stay.
