Good hotel in its location. Stayed at palm several times before. However now they no more the palm it was. The maid actually left the bedsheet cover on the bedsheet and expected us to put it in!? The pool really dirty; all other amenities there not working as it used to. Restaurant quality also getting worse. Friendly receptionist but otherwise a change in service is needed. Also too noisy. Rooms can hear one another. Still, was a good place and not too bad so 3 stars is fair. Great safe parking space also

My room was dirty when I arrived, the carpet looked like it hasn't been cleaned in more than a decade. First room I slept in was stinky and had spiders. I then requested to move to the another room and I got cockroaches there. The gym is not what is advertised on the net, doors are cracked and overall housekeeping is bad. Pest control does not exist in this place. I only chose it because of good reviews it had, I guess the standard has since dropped

I stayed there for 1 week.
Customer service was rubbish it looked like someone were forcing them to do a job there. They were talking so rude with the customers. They had no respect for the customers.
Cockroaches in the rooms as well as in the restaurant LAL QILA
They use to give 1 small water bottle in 24 hrs. If you had to drink more water you had to pay for it. They only look for money not for the customers. Once they get the money they don't even care about the customers. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone if you want to spend money with not getting any respect then you can go there.

Had an Eid lunch at Lal Qila.decided to give it a try after many years.Got charged R160 for a litre of Kola tonic.The food was blend and not worth the money.and my entire family had diarrhea the next day.

Very friendly staff. We booked 2 rooms from Friday until Monday, there were no towels available on all 3 days- thankfully we carried towels from home. The carpets in the rooms are very very dirty, the filth on the carpets are so thick that it gets stuck under your shoes and when u walk on the tiled area of the room, it messes the room and bathroom, so basically the bathroom was black and dirty for this reason as well as the elevators. The salaah section was the same, filthy carpets, I could not read my salaah there because of the smell.
The carpets are in urgent need of deep cleaning as its most unhygienic. The general upkeep of the hotel requires urgent attention.
