I made a reservation for a birthday dinner for 2, we were then seated near a large group table which took away slightly from the ambience as they were a bit loud. The staff however is great, very attentive and give great service. Their roll and butternut soup is a nice touch. The food was ok, not the best I've had. The dessert was amazing and I would go back just for it.

A great variety of grills to satisfy the palate.

Fantastic food, the wild oyster starters were fresh. The prawns and the langostines were grilled to perfection ,really delectable.
The Desserts were well prepared, and tasty, my recommendation is the nut cake(an ice cream cake with macadamia nuts and a fudge sauce on the plate) .

Great ambiance and great service. Highly recommended. Not a child friendly restaurant .

A Portuguese Restaurant that serves tough Portuguese steak. We came here with our Gate 1 group for our farewell dinner. The interior is nice with Klimt reproductions on the walls. One person at out table was vegan, but they brought her a salad with feta cheese, albeit without dressing. She asked for olive oil. It never came. Another person at out table ordered Fanta orange. They brought her grape flavored soda, then line, and only on third attempt they produced the orange one. The salad leaves in my salad were poor quality. The tomatoes were not ripe. As far as the main course goes, my kudu steak was rare even though I asked for it to be medium. My husband's Portuguese steak was hard to chew, but he liked the sauce. Overall, we want to thank them for accommodating our group, but the quality of the food and service could be better.

Always go here for a celebratory dinner with a group of friends.. service is always impeccable. And we all order the same thing - queen prawns. Too afraid to change it up to avoid disappointment. The last time they messed up the sides for it but it was sorted in no time. They bring peri peri sauce on the side of you want it with lemon butter. The creme brulee is delicious, as is the starter salad with pear and nuts.

Wonderful service, elegant restaurant. The food quality was really good. Took my dad here for his birthday and we both ordered Lobster Thermidor which was absolutely delicious. My dad also ordered Malva pudding and they were kind enough to surprise him by writing happy birthday dad on his plate with chocolate sauce. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 is because I thought I would get a bigger serving of lobster, it felt like it was too little for such a high price. Anyway the meal was indeed delicious and I highly recommend this venue if u want to enjoy a beautiful ambience and delicious food. I know Lobster is generally expensive but the serving just felt like it was too little for R570 pp, if I remember the price.

I need to be truly honest, this place has disappointed me in so many ways. Im so unhappy. The place has wonderful service. The food was beautiful presented but the food was so awful, I pretty much dont see my self go there again.

Always a pleasure eating here. The food and drinks are amazing. Be sure to try their ice cream nut cake ???????? Also, if the weather is beautiful, sit on the private patio and enjoy the sunset or people watching!!
