Classic India has always been our go to Indian restaurant whenever we are in town. We decided to try them out today after a couple of months of not having them and we were mind blown as always. The service was incredible, with staff following covid protocols and the food was nothing short of amazing. I had the paneer do piyaza and my partner had the chicken kadai. We also got some papad paneer and garlic naan to share. As always, the food and service was a stellar 10/10!

Ordered 2 dishes and open the bag to find the delivery guy had pressed the one dish so hard sauce and chicken was pressed out of the container and into the old spar packet. So 1/3rd the dish is in a spar packet.

I asked for my money back and an hour later they still haven’t honoured it. I called 4 times asking when it would come back. They refused to give me a time. So I went there. The manager/owner happily sitting there having a laugh at the entrance making me wait at home for them.

Ordered Hot Flavored Butter chicken via Mr D and there is no trace of spices just a lot of tomato paste taste. Really disappointing considering how Indian food is all about the beautiful blended spices and flavor but this doesn't even come close.

The worst food i have ever eaten. Cost me nearly R400 and Ive thrown it straight in the dustbin! Im very disappointed to put it mildly!!
How is this a lamb, chicken and prawn platter???? I couldnt even eat the naan bread, it was so soggy.
The vegetable curry tastes like it was made in a bottle tomato sauce and how do you even make samoosas taste bad?? Like what the heck! Uber eats should not even have you on their list!

Food was bland, uninteresting and generally not good. Restaurant was mostly empty, service wasn't great either.
They had no mixer for some of the cocktails.
A very disappointing experience.
I used to visit this restaurant frequently before it became The Classic India Restaurant, way back around 2007 I think it was privately owned then. Pity, the original restaurant was really good.
I wont be returning here.

Best curry in Bedfordview! Has not changed.
Update again...still not much more I can add! I have never had a bad meal here. Tonight was no exception.
Special butter chicken with cheese and sweet corn samosas and their signature garlic and cheese naan

Restaurant do not deserve any star. Service and management is horrible. We found hair in our chicken Tikka dish. Manager do not want to accept responsibility for their mistakes. We got very horrible experience and our evening was spoiled because of not only food their bad attitude also. We highly not recommend this restaurant. Do not waste your precious time and money for this restaurant.
