One of my favourite places to go. Delicious dishes, absolutely packed with flavour and texture. I'd recommend getting a few dishes, as they're quite small, and getting a taste of various flavours.

Sally not what we expected but still good. Think I hyped myself up for this place and it wasn't good as expected
Service average owner was really nice
Food teeny tiny portions but like bite size portions of dim sum tacos.. and they still charge the price of normally size .
Noodles were good tasty but not authentic Dan Dan noodles even though menu says minced chicken it was cubed chicken and that's not what a dan dan is . So all in all we won't go back but I would try

First stop for restaurant week. We surprisingly had the entire restaurant to ourselves for most of supper. This is in stark contrast to their packed Melville days. What is still the same is their excellent food: contemporary take on Asian dishes whilst remaining faithful to flavor. Generous portions. Beautiful plating. I'm glad they've moved closer to us.

I was really disappointed. The food is pricey without justification - the cordial drinks are equivalent to that of a cocktail. The prawn tom yum had no prawns, only 7 shrimp tails that lacked flavour (watery). The food itself was nothing to write home about, especially the vegan pannacotta which was literally just coconut cream and sauce. The place is pretty and looks like a secret gem, but you can have far greater foodie experiences in Joburg. There was also only one waitress so the service was slow, and nobody was particularly friendly or welcoming. Would not return or recommend.:/

One of my favourite eateries in Joburg. Used to visit the Melville branch but first time at the new location in Illovo. Food was still as good as I remember. The sashimi tacos and dokbokki always hit the spot. Definitely try these. Service was a bit slow when I went, but good meal. Had the prawn dumplings in Tom Yum, was spicy but good. The hibiscus panna cotta dessert was also delicious. Still a favourite.

The food was alright but the best thing on the menu are the dumplings - the crispy prawn ones. They ran out of wings so I couldn't get the Bang Bang winglets (disappointing). The Granadilla cordial was fine (it had pips in it). The fried chicken was good too. The food did take quite a while also, and it was pricey. Overall though, quite nice.

The food is tasty but portions are a bit small so you would ideally order two meals at once. Conveniently located in the heart of Melville and there's ample parking as well.
