Spontaneously ended up here with some friends. The food was incredible as was the drinks selection. The prices were really good too! Being vegetarian, I was hesitant about what food was available but the staff were really accommodating. Their pizzas are by far one of the best pizzas we have had. Looking forward to coming back here in the future :)

Dont order chips!!! Nachos are a winner... Calamari and jalapeno poppers are just ok. Drinks galore...highlight is the good music and the dj vibing all night.

The Green Modderfontein was an unexpected surprise. Being invited by friends to join for a drink turned out to be an amazing fun evening.. From the minute we walked in, greeted by all the friendly waiters and the most amazing DJ playing only great music.... Mainly golden oldies but immediately getting us on to the dance floor and we spent most of the evening having fun. The service was great and although we only had pizza it was still great.. The most memorable was the view and of course the DJ having as much as we did! I will definitely come back soon and recommend it to everyone that loves 80's and 90's music!

Lovely bar , slowly becoming our regular spot. Good is great and they have an amazing selection of booze on tap. 10/10 would recommend

What an absolutely delicious bar!!!! The food was great, I had the chicken tacos and my partner had the beef burger and both were done to perfection. The golf course in the back made for an amazing back drop and the manager and his staff were an absolute delight. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Was looking forward to this visit, but it did not live up to expectation. It is a lovely, casual venue , with a very wide drinks selection and a beautiful view over the Modderfontein golf course. The golfers that use the venue however, are extremely loud and rowdy and spoil the ambience of the venue. Service is extremely slow in general and it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our lunch which was a burger and a plate of chips - we nearly cancelled it and left. The peanut butter burger itself wasn't so great - the burger came in a dry, tasteless pita instead of a bun and the concept doesn't really work, plus the peanut butter was one skimpy blob smeared on the pita. Otherwise the food was quite good. Won't visit again, as the crowd and slow service spoiled it for me.
