First Sunday at Victoria Yards was a wonderful break from the every day rush. Even with stormy weather, we were able to duck inside buildings and see artisans at work. The storefronts allow ample space to display many of their creations. I enjoyed the integrated farming around, between and in front of buildings. We enjoyed some fabulous Texas BBQ for lunch. I highly recommend you check out an event at Victoria Yards.

There is always something to do at the Victoria Yards space. From music events to special market days, you can wander around and browse the local shops and various artisans spaces producing beautiful locally made products. Always a vibe, great food and outdoor area.

Really cool place, it's very similar to the Rosebank Sunday market.

The community seemed to be great, I unfortunately got there a bit late so I did not get the time to see some of the stores/shops/"museums" open.

Victoria Yards is a stunning gem tucked away in Johannesburg. It’s an industrial maze of markets, galleries, workshops, gin distilleries and a few great restaurants and bars.

A great spot to spend a day with the family.

Definitely making it a regular visit!

This is how a market place should be! I have to commend them on safety! The security really looks out for people. There is so much to see and explore. All the owners are willing to help and show you around. I bought a few lovely things for my home!

Victoria Yards is a complex consisting of multiple buildings catering for a variety of activities such as musical, art and etc. I visited Safe Study SA. A community initiative programme which aims to empower young kids from disadvantaged homes. On Saturdays they host the kids and teach them a variety of activities such as painting, board games, dance, art, music etc and offer them some nutritional food. So they use one of the buildings for the activities and some spaces are used for concerts etc. There is enough parking within the facility and it is well taken care of. The community initiative is always looking for more donors who can donate food packs and other things for the kids. Your visit can change a child's experience.
