This place is disgusting. We were booked in via sleep-out for 4 adults and when we arrived they offer us 2 dbl beds in i small room that is outside the main building. It stinks of urine and looks more like a brothel than a Lodge. To think that this has a 3 star rating is a joke. When I requested my deposit back from Sleep-out I recieved an email saying it was not as I said. So I drove 9 hours to lie!!! Such dishonesty is sad and disgusting.

I would recommend this place to anyone... I loved it there so much I had my 25th birthday there. Beautiful place, friendly staff.

Eastgate Palms Lodge is a gem located in Kensington. The guest house is very peaceful and was about a 20 min drive from the airport. The staff was friendly and inviting, plus they had great suggestions for the best restaurants, clubs and shops. We got to explore Maboneng which is roughly 5km from the guest house, R20 with an Uber and also Eastgate which was R48 with Uber. It also sports a lovely garden area where we had a braai on our last night. We fell in love with the executive suite, R800 and a with the African decor.
