Felt terribly nervous going and taking my dog off her leash, but what a wonderful place! Loads of space to sit and have a picknick and play with your furry kids, dams for them to swim in, lovely trails to go for a walk, it is just awesome. The dogs love it even more, no fights as it is neutral ground and they can make plenty of friends.

We went late on a Sunday afternoon and it was almost empty, nice space for dogs to walk and lots of water for them to swim in! Make sure your dog is well socialized to take bring them to WalkHaven. Didn't taste the food this time but they have a small restaurant and picnic spots with fixed umbrellas. Lovely place for the dogs!

One of the best off-lead dog parks in Jhb. It's a big area that's fenced in so your dogs are safe and there are 2 big dams so they can have a little swim if they want. And then for their humans there's a nice restaurant with delicious food and ice cold beer. It's a pretty spectacular day out for both you and your pups.

Beautiful park for dogs. It has a well kept garden, lawn and pond that all dogs will love. It gas a pizza restaurant if you're hungry and lots of places to sit down and enjoy the scenery.

Beautiful park. Entrance fee has gone up to R45pp - tiny fee when you realise the incredible upkeep of the venue. Everyone is super friendly, staff and visitors alike. Best part is watching the dogs enjoy themselves together. The walk is lovely, it's extremely safe. There is a restaurant with amazing pizza, but you can also come to picnic or braai. Our favourite dog park, by far

We love Walkhaven. My fur baby loves it even more !!! Huge open spaces,extremely peaceful, no loud music. I have seen lots of.people visiting without dogs ...just enjoying other peoples' babies.

2 large dams reserved for fur visitors only.

The food at the on site restaurant ( The Dog Box) is always delicious.

What a peaceful place to visit. The doggy menu is better than the human one, but the food was very "English Pub" rather than "restaurant" quality. But still good. Prices are very reasonable, let's face it, you are going here for a doggie day out.
