Beautiful accommodation. Rooms were clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was enjoyable. The hostess was most helpful and went out of her way to accommodate us. There's also a lovely garden area to relax in, where we were also provided with a kettle braai and complimentary charcoal. Staff friendly and efficient.

What a beautiful quaint little Bu0026B. This places boasts Victorian beauty paired with a large and very welcoming garden with loads of chirpy birds. The rooms are really spacious and very well maintained, and impressive that they managed to keep the original old house charm. It has everything you need, tv, coffee station, fridge, towels and toiletries - and very helpful and friendly staff (Marlene, thank you!). I will certainly stay here again. PS. They have ample parking to cater for all 8 rooms. The parking entrance is at the back, running parallel to the main road where the pedestrian entrance is. It's walking distance from a few restaurants.

We booked through bookings.com and was given the outside room. We were told that the rooms in the house was full. When we noticed that the door could not lock we were suddenly offered a room in the house? Suddenly there was space. We had 1bath towel, 1 hand towel to share and nobody at reception to ask after 7pm. We were also served cold breakfast which I could not be bother to complain about. Other than that there is a beautiful garden to sit in, the room given to guest who book with them directly is good but the outside room is not great. It was like stepping into the 80's with decor. It seriously needs an upgrade and guests booking via hosting sites should not be treated differently because 15% commision goes to them. You can clearly see the difference in the rooms in my photos.

wow coming back to Cecil John Rhodes Guesthouse was truly amazing! My husband and I arrived and the Cecil John Rhodes staff had champagne waiting for us in our room, the breakfast was amazing, my list can go on... Thank you Zelda

Beautiful historical building that offer peace and tranquility. Lovely garden, relaxed atmosphere and friendly service! Definitely worth it!
