A 5 star experience. We had dinner here last night. The staff are very friendly and always speak with a smile. Our waitron was Poppie, most lovely lady. The ambience and decor is superb. The food was heart warming and it was a all round great evening. Thank you to the hard working staff.

Had supper at The Hussar Grill while stopping over in Kimberley on our way back home to Cape Town. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant - great food, great atmosphere and super attentive staff! Poppie was an excellent server and talked us through the different steaks they offered which was super useful.

I ordered the gnocchi with mushroom sauce, butternut and feta. Portion was well-sized and very tasty! Our party also ordered the steak special, a beef burger, blue cheese sirloin steak, and kingklip. My only complaint would be that the potatoes (chips that came with the burger and garlic potatoes that came with the steak special) could be improved. The chips were hard and the garlic potatoes were not very garlicky. They were supposed to be baked potatoes but they tasted like they had been microwaved. But after we finished our mains, Poppie brought vodka chocolate martinis for the entire table. Those were excellent and made up for the potato sides.

Excellent service. I loved the relaxed ambience of the restaurant and I loved the books. Wish I had one with me to exchange for another but I look forward to going back again.
From stepping into the restaurant, my family and I came and left with smiles

The menu could be updated a bit to accommodate kids. Otherwise ????????????????

The staff are very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The ambience and layout is good. The food was delicious and prepared very well. The best dine out experience I have had in quite a while. The top notch service and quality is proven by the fact the place was full with diners. We celebrated an 80th birthday of a family member and they made sure to congratulate him and spoil him with something extra on the house. I highly recommend a visit. It wasn't cheap, but absolutely worth every cent. We came away completely satisfied from the experience. Well done to the owner/s and staff.

We celebrated our Anniversary there and It was a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Craig, Prudence and Grace see all soon. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to creating more memories there♥️
