The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel had a cozy common lounge with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable couches and great Wifi connection (I could teach online for 1,5 hours without any problems). At night we could sit on the terrace that had a very nice vibe, with candles and armchairs.
The owner was a very nice lady, who even helped us clean and dry our shoes after they got dirty walking on the beach.
The only negative thing I can mention was the shower, because it was very hard to set the temperature on it (it was either freezing cold, or burning hot), but other than this I can only recommend this place!

A beautifully restored hospital made into a guest house. The rooms were huge and well designed and fitted out.
The common areas were nice and inviting and everything is available for you to use.
Located near to the centre of town we were concerned about security but it was totally fine.
Experience could be made even better by offering breakfast.

The best-organised and friendliest guesthouse I've ever stayed it. Super location near lots of restaurants, comfortable and elegant room, very user-friendly communal kitchen. Will definitely return.

Very stylishly renovated old place right in the center of Knysna. Each room is unique. Pay attention to details and wander around the property. Communication in advance by the owner made the stay even more welcoming.

p.s . Loved the biscuits available in the living room 24/7 too;)
