A nice and cozy Italian restaurant in Knysna with a relaxed ambience. I really enjoyed their chicken and herb pizza. The seafood pasta was a bit bland. The staff is friendly, kind and attentive

We arrived in Knysna quite late and walk from our accommodation place to this lovely restaurant.
They were very friendly and the service was great. Our waitress brought our drinks outside where we were having a smoke, and really looked after us.
The food was really great with in-house home made pasta. We had pasta dishes and didn't have the pizzas but they look well sized and properly laid with cheese.

I would highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

Food was excellent. Pizza is superb. Pasta, because its homemade, EXCELLENT. Even my little one enjoyed it. Keep up the great food, and will certainly come and visit you again. Great venue and clean all round.

Best place for pizza ???? in Knysna.

Very cozy restaurant definitely worth to sit in then get take aways as we normally did. Italian football and memorabilia about Italy as a décor which I love as who does not love football!

I like how it's still family ran restaurant, everyone on duty is always pleasant no matter if your there for a take away or sit in.

I will keeping coming back while staying in Knysna, definitely worth a stop for lunch or dinner if your passing through or stoping over.

The pasta ???? is also another winner ! Think next time I have to order both ???? ????

We stumbled late into town for Knysna's last Friday's which we hear is quite popular - having missed the "party" we looked for a place to eat and came across Persello Pizzeria.

As a vegan I was expecting to not eat much - but the owner chef turned that around, went all out with a pizza which was super tasty and as a suggestion a must add to the menu.

If and when in Knysna, want to experience love and warmth from the Mediterranean, visit Persello Pizzeria, you will be glad you did!

Amazing pizza and Pasta. We enjoyed our visit. Service was great. Ambience felt like we time traveled to Italy. Do support them!

Everything was great, I would give a 5 star rating but only after I finished eating I found out there is egg in the recipe used to make the homemade pasta. There are some people have egg allergies and some people who choose not to eat egg for other reasons. The fact this is not clearly advertised is simply unacceptable.
