Didn't have the best experience at this restaurant. The service was bad. The waiter wasn't friendly and rude and the food took way too long to arrive. The biryani was dry and flavorless. Ordered two types of chicken curries and two types of lamb curries but they all tasted exactly the same. but didn't taste bad just tastes like a good sweet sauce and nothing like Indian food. Stay away from the dhal and the rotti. The dhal is a watery mess and the roti is a thin tortilla that's not even warmed.

We had dinner at Delhi Darbar last night. Warm welcome by the owner and great recommendations.
To be honest, the Onion Bajee were the best we ever had and we also loved Chicken Tikka as starter.
As main course we had Chicken Bhuna and Makhani Chicken, both perfect.

Had a nice chat with the owner and he constantly asked if we like everything. A very good dinner and highly recommended.

One remark, only beer is sold, if you like wine, bring your own bottle.

One of the best indian restaurant in Knysna. Must try their Biryani , butter Chicken,and Chapati. Recommended definitely!.

We didn't make a booking, as we were walking past we thought would try it, as we entered the premises the guy at the till just shakes his head at us. Not understanding what he meant, we asked if he had availability for 2, he said we only take bookings and he said it very rudely, and he didn't even enquire if we would like to take away. The lady before us was paying for a takeaway. I would not even want to book with you due to the rudeness and unpleasant nature.

Food is Good but they take too much time to serve. We went there and it took more then 75 minutes for food to come. The incharge or owner has got too much attitude and is not acceptable at all.
Being Indian we had no choice for food but it became the last option in our 3 rd visit to this restaurant. and after that we shifted our restaurant.
Seems most interested in business at all.
