This is my and my husband's favorite romantic getaway. The service is excellent. The breakfast amazing. Must visit for couples. And the Manager Fish, is one of the Best Hosts.

Loved it went there this weekend with my boyfriend. Heated floors and bed's. The chalets are high up in the mountains. Great place for two love birds looking for a peaceful sanctuary. The service is awesome there is a guy called Fish. He helped with check in. The room we had gave us a panaromic view of the mountains and lake.

We stayed here for 5 days and weren't disappointed. The weather was pretty bad the first 2 days (there's nothing to do when poor weather hits other than eat and drink). There was a power cut in the town one evening and everything shut down.
Once the good weather came out you can see why this place is where it is. Stunning views from our lagoon lodges.
The staff were utterly lovely and helpful. The breakfast menu options were plentiful and delicious.
I celebrated a birthday here and the staff made a cake. Everyone was so lovely. A definite stop when visiting Knysna.
I wish we had been there when in full summer as I can imagine it is even more beautiful.

My wife and I have a great weekend away at Elephant Hyde Lodge in Knysna. Very lovely views and great service with an amazing breakfast in the mornings.
We highly recommend this venue for a great weekend getaway all year round.
