Stunning gardens, super friendly staff and delicious food - that's the only way to describe Knysna Social Eatery.

The restaurant is located in the mountains away from the Knysna lagoon. It is a very tranquil and calm setting. Their gardens are exquisite and the noise of splashing water from the numerous fountains creates a relaxing ambience.

The staff and restaurant management were warm and welcoming and the service was impeccable.

The food is delicious and the portions are generous. We had the fried fish and the fish cakes - you simply cannot fault the food.

We will definitely return and possibly even look to spend a few nights in one of their stunning villas.

What a beautiful setting, the gardens are so well kept and while eating here you feel so at easyss.

The menu is a bit small but there's quite unique things to choose from.

Staff are friendly and polite.

The food was quite delicious ???? and coffee ☕ was just as good, on a nice summers day the garden setting just makes u relax and so peaceful.

We definitely come again.

Out of all the places visited, this has by far been the most hospitable. Thanks to professionally designed interiors, Covid-19 would be a hard one to pass on.

Enjoy clear mountain air while having your breakfast and coffee while admiring the beautiful garden views.

A professional masterpiece

It is clear that everything done at this place from architecture, landscaping and engineering, took the inputs of many different professionals.

Enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting experience with Peter Falke u0026 Chamonix wines at Social Eatery hosted by The Grape Hustle. Fantastic service, fabulous wines and very tasty canapes. A lovely evening out with great live music.

Popped in for an early morning coffee just after 7am. Great place, friendly service and lovely decor, would like to go back and try the food.

Perfect, just perfect. Everything was well done, the food was fresh and very tasty, good portions aswell.

Definitely try the social burger, one of the best I've ever had.

We also came back for breakfast, that too was great. Their croissant is so so good????

On top the great food ane service, this place wonderul views and a very relaxed atmosphere.

The Curry special was great! Definitely worth every scent - the food was delicious and the wine and beer were fabulous. The modern design and decor were stunning ☺️
