Mark and Adele are super, super awesome and amazing host/ owners of the property. Liesle and Nico are exceptional team members. A must do for anyone travelling and must for a 2 night stay. Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant! The house sits on top of Kanonkop in Knysna and has the most amazing views of the lagoon and waterfront. You will not be disappointed by this guest house!

Mark and Adele Conyers are down to earth owners looking to enjoy meeting likeminded guests. You really do feel welcomed and part of the family from the moment you check in. Rico will take care of your beverages and his cocktails are unreal. He's an amazing and driven young man. Have lots of respect for him. And Mark and Adele only want what's best for clients. Save money and make this on your bucket list. You will not be disappointed! Great communucation and they have a slick operation. Well done! Hope you enjoy some of our pics.

Amazing views from every suite with five star facilities and five star hosts.

My hubby and I had the pleasure of visiting KanonKop House a few weeks ago. We stayed in the forest suite which is arguably the best suite in the house. It combines the amazing lagoon views with views of indigineous forest right next to your suite. An in-house therapist to sort out all your spa requirements and an amazing host, Liesel, to tell you everything you need to know about the area. Our bar man and host in the evening, Rico, will keep the liquid courage flowing while you take in the magnificent views and comfortable luxury that KanonKop House delivers. Perfect for honeymooners or couples seeking a luxurious getaway. In fact, perfect for anyone who loves a lot of luxury at an incredible price! .Mark and Adele Conyers have done an excellent job making sure KanonKop House consistently delivers five star happiness in spades. Excellent restaurant recommendations, the best activities to enjoy, new routes to explore, excellent facilities and five star accommodation with drinks tailored to your specific needs, these guys know how to make people happy. We highly recommend KanonKop House!

10 reasons why you should visit: Kanonkop Guesthouse in Knysna
1. The rooms are huge and well appointed with the most luxurious amenities.
2. The elevated location presents the most spectacular views of the Knysna estuary and heads.
3. Perfectly located in a quiet residential area, yet close to town and restaurants.
4. The staff are well trained, friendly and attentive.
5. The property is very much a boutique lodge with high attention to detail.
6. Breakfast and high tea it’s absolutely delicious, well thought out and beautifully presented.
7. The property is surrounded by lush green vegetation and is private from neighbouring properties.
8. The large swimming pool is just lovely and inviting.
9. The rooms have sea facing balconies and decks which allow for relaxing morning coffees and evening sunset drinks.
10. The hosts/owners are very much involved and hands on which I believe is a strong factor for the success of this lodge. Highly recommended.

A FABULOUS home. Where you are treated as a friend rather than a guest! A bottle of wine in your room and the host's bar in the living room is open for you to help yourself! A bottle of champagne sits waiting to be opened along with a spread of tea time goodies! Warm and welcoming staff. Corporate rates for a game of golf. A masseuse on the beautiful premises! You couldn't ask for more!!

Awesome hotel experience. You feel so welcomed and at rest due to the great chemistry between staff, guests and owner.

Very luxurious rooms, great breakfast and a view to die for! I loved every second of it!

When we got into our room all I could say was WOW! We stayed in the Diamond Suite - with a well thought out room flow from bathroom, bedroom to living room area and a view over the entire Knysna Lagoon, all the way to the heads, you are almost at a loss for words. The entire guest house is beautiful and is surrounded but the natural flora of the area. There are also a number of common areas where you can relax so it never feels cramped. There is also a pool area where you can relax with a beer/glass of wine to cool off after a busy day out. They offer massages as an optional extra (book in advance). Breakfast is included (which was very tasty), and in the afternoon they put out snacks in the kitchen area. For dinner they will quickly help you book a restaurant in town (that meets your taste) as well as a transfer to and from the restaurant. The drinks are also included - they want to create a homey vibe so you can help yourself in the kitchen. We had such an amazing time and with the staff (Gibson, Ricko, Lizelle) and the owner (Mark) making the experience so comfortable you truly get the sense of what they strive for - to give you a home away from home.
