There is no sign or board showing the places location so it takes quite a while to find it. It is now called turaco cabins and only when you enter the Glampackers board can be see. Not enough parking space for all guests, the recptionist not always available.
Rooms were clean and were mini cabin style so not a lot of space but it is glamorous. Some rooms do not have plugs for charging and others do. Rooms did not have a kitchen or anything related to cooking beside a kettle. Each room has a unique setting and is comfortable for a short stay.

On arrival there was a lack of parking. Guests were drinking on the porch and were extremely loud. Not a very good welcome.

One of our units had a toilet right next to the bed with no door or even wall. The linen was old and worn. Single ply toilet paper. No soap in the shower. Old towels.

We were told the gate was locked at night for our security, but nothing was locked when we got home at 02h00, anyone can walk right up to your unit so lock the door.

Do yourself a favor and skip this one. You can get way better accommodation for the same price elsewhere in Knysna.

A fun take it as it comes type of place. The staff are Persobable and Megan knows so much about the surround area! It's a backpackers so you gotta learn to share a bit. But you make friends with interesting people. Good Times!

The sweetest staff! Glampackers is situated in the center of everything to do. The rooms are clean and decorated beautifully.

Nice place.Clean and cosy.Lush setting.Small parking area so choose a parking space well if you are leaving early the next morning.Toilet didnt work so well.Communal kitchen.

Nice friendly owners...went out of their way to accommodate... price fairly good ...room very clean and neat...
