Just had a cystoscopy done, doctors were great, nursing staff friendly cheerful and consistently helpful. Airy clean environment. Very grateful to get that level of medical care for a fraction of what private care would cost.
My only complaint was the presence of a group of substance abuse crazies placed there for some bureaucratic reason who were a constant problem bordering on threatening.
No fault of the staff who are very brave to work with that constantly present menace. Someone in management needs to rectify this. Very relieved to be discharged as I began to feel unsafe by the last day.

As good as it gets in ????????!!

Good facilities, great staff and even better doctors!! They really care and are true servants of the people of Knysna!!

From the cleaners and security, right through to the management, sisters and specialists - all do they’re work with a measure of love and respect!

Knysna is proud of you????

This place truly has the worst service, the one does not know what the other one does it seems.
My wife gave birth at this hospital but theyre methods were very poor approaching her with a scissor during labour and not telling her what they were about to do with it but only told her to "shut up and keep quiet" is enough to shock anybody.
The woman all had to share one bathroom where the public bathroom of the hospital is filled with atleast 6 cubicles.
I am very sorry to be the one to rate this poor service and I feel sorry for those who really have no other choice.
Poor communication and very poor handeling of patients.

I fell ill at home was transported to knysna hospital via ambulance due to chest issues and struggling to breath on the morning of the 14th May 2020

Prior to being transported to knysna governmental hospital on the same morning i was transported to the medi clinic in knysna which couldn't assist dye to the fact that they cannot treat me because my Medical membership with Discovery is an insurance cover and not a aid. Blood samples was taken by the medi-clinic prior to transfer.

I was handed over to knysna local hospital which discussed that they going to test me for covid 19 and was sent home.

Was piss me off was the fact that the medical entity didn't treat me nor they examine me for the cause of my condition.

They left me for my own faith. GOD knows what inwas suffering from no explanation no diagnosis.

Im still not well and they let me into society with chest issues making me vulnerable to the diseases.

Knysna hospital shows no interest in there patients other safeguarding themselves from a possible threat.

If i could have a response from them it will go unheard.

My aunt is there at the moment with Meningitis and everytime we phone for an update they are so helpful and she’s really getting the best treatment and help, so impressed with this hospital in Knysna, thank you for everything!!

Took my 92 year old mother to casulty on Sunday with severe diarhea and high fever and unable to walk. Only one doctor available. Left after 5 hours of waiting without seeing a doctor.
