Baitoug is a great addition to the area that is slowly expanding it’s Asian cuisine options. This restaurant currently occupies the former location of Saffron restaurant, which provides a bright and well adapted dining experience for the newly introduced Thai cuisine.
For the experience of my wife and I, Baitong offered all the familiar Thai dishes that we have come to love and enjoy. Dishes are well executed, timely, and in our experience, have not disappointed a longing for good Thai in the Lowveld. The staff seems to be happy to present the menu to you, whether you are familiar or completely new to the Thai cuisine.
Easily recommended dishes here are: Pad Thai, Massaman curry, Spring rolls, Beef salad, and a Tom Kha Gai soup that tastes authentic to those I have had in Bangkok itself.
