A very serene atmosphere, one could almost describe it as something you would find in the Hamptons overseas. The food is really good, ingredients fresh and the flavours compliment each other perfectly. I’d recommend the Poke Bowl. They are a bit pricey but that much is expected when coming to a restaurant of this stature. Service could be a bit better considering. But overall a lovely place especially for lunches and dinners.

Amazing Atmosphere and great Food. The outside area is always nice and cool and the grass is always greener on the outside lol. Loved the milkshakes, be sure to try their steaks its amazing. Love the concept of eating off a wooden board, it appeals to the caveman lurking inside all of us.

Absolutely awesome experience at the blue gate, from perfect service from great staff to mouth watering and delicious food. The atmosphere is stunning. Get down to the blue gate for some black Friday specials and enjoy the tequila...Thanks for a great meal and experience.

Beautiful restaurant in a peaceful area. The food is amazing and there is a lovely play area for children.

Wow, an absolutely amazing experience, ALL AROUND! Did a treatment on my very course and curly hair which absolutely no one (and I mean no one, you can challenge it!) in the lowveld can handle, except for myself or any salon in the western cape, and they nailed it! I'm super impressed and so happy. For the first time I don't regret spending big bucks on my hair! A friend even has her appointment for tomorrow and I cannot wait to see her very long and thick hair transform like mine did today! Pity we didn't take any before and after pics so that people can understand my amazement. Thank you and the manager was just super professional and efficient! The Blue Gate is definitely my luxurious sanctuary from here on out???? Keep it up please
