For starters it's very cold and there was no electric blanket or at least the remote for the air conditioning. The bed is huge, but really cold due to the bathroom being open plan as well. So could not really get comfortable, also the shower is very nice and big, but the shower head only accommodates one person for the size of the shower it doesn't do it any justice. The water was nice and hot.

A few months ago, I came to stay at this guesthouse periodically whilst visiting my dad who was seriously ill in Nelspruit Mediclinic. I was so grateful for the hospitality, friendliness and support from the owner and her staff. The property looks like something out of a fairly tale with lots of shrubs and greenery. The rooms were beautiful, clean and welcoming. Thanks for a great experience during a very difficult time.

Was a beautiful get away and the most perfect place for an engagement. Thank you soooo very much for all the hospitality and helping my now fiancé get the perfect setting for him to pop the big question. Will definitely be seeing us there again!! Xx

Nightjar Lodge is an absolute gem! A beautiful setting amongst the indigenous trees and rocky outcrops. Friendly hosts who went out of their way to make our long stay so comfortable. Thank you Zyta for your all your kindness

Great accommodation! Perfect for couples or single guest. Safe, private, spacious and comfortable rooms. Zeyta is a fantastic host that will go above and beyond. Definitely recommend
