This place is ridiculously good, and ridiculously good value for money. Absolutely stunning interiors, food served is spectacular with the kind of plating you would expect in Michelin-starred place. Still very much family run and unpretentious. The owner also organizes trips around SA. We really enjoyed it here. You can also rent out the entire place, which we are contemplating to do at some point. Would also work well for an executive getaway.

It was fantastic! We spent one night here with our children. What a very beautiful house! Every detail has been thought of. Lovely beds (with heated blanket for the colder nights). And then the breakfast, everything was so delicious!

I just loved staying at Torburnlea. Every corner is carefully curated. All the details and extras you may need are taken care of. It really is art!
And the staff are great and so attentive, they have considered everything.
The food was also top-notch and served in such a beautiful setting.

Centrally situated in Nelspruit on the Mataffin estate this renovated family home is magnificent. Surrounded by large trees and natural landscape this is an ideal stopover for business and leisure. Breakfast and WiFi available free to use.
