We ate there, sorry to say that the food was not as good as we thought it to be.
The veggies was between raw u0026 partially cooked , they should be either raw or well cooked.
The meat was tough not well cooked either. Next time if there is going to be a next time we will ask the cook to come u0026 taste his own food u0026 tell us if he is satisfied with it.
Otherwise the service was good u0026 very friendly staff, no complains there.

My family and I visited Mecure Hotel. What a wonderful experience, from the friendly welcome at reception to the pleasant waiting- and bar staff. The rooms are spacious and clean. Had nice wholesome breakfasts and lunch. Lovely pool area where the kids can swim and play while parents can relax on the deck chairs next to the pool.

A total face lift since our visit in Feb. 2022. The whole atmosphere has changed to being friendly, caring, professional and eco friendly. Service was prompt and friendly. The meals were well prepared and tasty. I have attached a photo of the upgraded pool area. Amazing. It is apparent that more upgrades are in the pipeline. We will be back!

If you looking for a peaceful weekend get away this place is not the place. My fiancee booked for us a weekend get away for my birthday at Mercure. It's Friday night 23:47pm 14/10/2022 as I m writing this review, and we trying to sleep and there is people outside taking loud, room next door, car hooting and revving, and we have already phoned reception twice and the noise continues. What is annoying is that when we checked-in we did explain to the reception that we don't need noise, we just want to relax, but they still checked in next to us people who are busy making up and down the stairs during the night, talking and laughing. They have other room that are not occupied for the weekend, they should have at least respected our request.

I've been to a few conferences here. It's never at the professional level one excepts. One summer the aircon didn't work. We notified them on venue inspection a week prior but nothing was done. The bar closed early so we could not get refreshments at breaks or afterwards. Parking is also an issue.

Next to ilanga mall, good venue when travelling with kids, two story structured. also good for business meetings with various meeting room / hall sizes. average food quality. good wifi. clean facility. a bit of a struggle with parking, you can also park in the mall for free.

Conveniently placed, walked to Ilanga Mall for dinner. Rooms clean, bathroom needs a little revamping and the beds a bit too hard for my liking. Service at the reception was great.
