Simply put this club is a Golf experience delight. In South Africa There's a lot of golf courses. But then there's The Club at Steyn City. Sincerely this Golf Club is a 5 star experience with a very tough Jack Nicklaus 18 Hole Brilliantly designed course that will elevate your golf to new levels of respect for beauty and difficulty from the perfectly manicured tees fairways and greens all of which will define if you are a good golfer or an average hack. Either way the clubhouse will welcome you back with a warm and friendly atmosphere with stunning service and well mannered staff. I really enjoyed playing here.

Lovely place to be. Beautiful golf course, although difficult.
Awesome breezes. Lovely food. Great residential properties, nice tight security all round.

Generally this place is fabulous!

... On this particular day, it was not.
Booked a week in advance for a special event.
Nobody called to follow up.
The day before, the booking was not even on file.
Thank goodness I brought flowers for the table.
There was really nothing wow about the event, In-spite of being reassured that the events manageress had my details and would ensure that our needs would be catered to.

The service was worse than bad. The waiter so inattentive that our group missed the cut off for breakfast, even though we had made a booking for brunch.

The view was the only redeeming component.
Really disappointed with the over all result.

May next time will be better.

I loved everything, from making the reservation to arriving at the gate and actually being at the club house. A bit confusing to get there but I also wasn't paying attention to signage

The main restaurant was clean, waiters were professional and the food was amazing. I spent the whole day there so after the main meal, we moved to the lounge, everything was exquisite, I really can't fault the service and ambience.

For sundowners, moved to the outside seating, man the the sunset from my table ????

It really is a hangout spot I can recomend, no loud music, we were able to converse among ourselves as we had not seen each other in a year.

Beautiful restaurant. Expansive interior with a formal dining area, bar area, informal lounging area and grand exterior outside area overlooking the golf course. Beautiful views of the club house, golf course and nearby houses. Limited menu, limited vegetarian options, one vegan option. No need for an extensive menu when there is such a relaxed environment. Amazing lavatories offering absolute privacy. Good cooked to perfection. And of course, many photo opportunities. Higher end restaurant. There are Tapas, mains and desserts on the food menu - no vegan options, all vegetarian options are standard meals without the meat. Wine and cocktails on the drinks menu. And a wide variety on the bar menu.

Absolutely fantastic! One of the best golf courses in Gauteng and SA, in my opinion. I play here somewhat frequently and even the halfway clubhouse and restaurant, both offer fantastic food and service. The restaurant has great cocktails and an absolutely elegant menu. Definitely recommend playing a round here, then stay for the 19th hole and then some.
