After coming to Mossalbay for the past 8 years supporting their shop and spending substantial amount of money buying new fishing rods, fishing equipment ect after the experience I have today in your store I will be calling quits from here onwards.
A week ago I bought a new fishing rod, braid ect from you got excellent advice as what to do and use but when something is defective on a the product (Assassin Sabre fishing rod) then you guys just throw your hands up and blame on the client, by "abusing" the equipment. Please explain to me, after taking it out of the packagain the same day I bought it setting it up on the rocks at fransmanshoek and throwing your first cast the braid snaps, I personally throught it was the way I tied the knots or whatever and the second time I casted it was fine and so was the third time. However every cast after that my braid just kept on breaking taking a closer look it was the bottom eye ring that was missing. Yes, there is a few scuff marks but I have had plenty fishing rods that are looking worse but not one ounce of issues. What saddens me is that you would rather turn around and blame the client after 1 minute of having a look at the rod for "dropping" it.
Sorry chaps not have you only lost a loyal supporter to your business but have also left a sour taste in my mouth. I am not one for coming to social media for something like this but what has happened has really disappointed me in your level of service.
