Lovely friendly staff, beautiful hostel (the pool is a great bonus!), clean, huge but not overly crowded. I even had a 6 bed dorm to myself. They offer breakfast and coffee and will help you book activities around town. I felt safe here and would highly recommend it!

Enjoyed the breakfast included. Safe locked parking for my vehicle. People appear friendly and helpful. Neat attractive property. They also have facilities for self catering. Appears safe to walk around at night in the neighborhood. Free wifi, tea and coffee.

Spent 3 months here! Yes, 3 months! It was my base for travelling around the Western Cape and I loved it so much I have recurring dreams of it. You will almost guaranteed see whales from the kitchen when you look out to sea. Also, very conveniently located on the edge of the Garden Route, from here you can book further travel or activities.

Absolutely lovely place/space. Good spacious rooms. Struggled with water temperature even after following the rules ???? waiting for half an hour and still no balanced water temperature on a cold morning not cool. Being told not to talk cos you making noise. Own alcohol not allowed ???? after 4days of travelling and spending, I must still buy at their limited options bar is kinda not cool ???????? Please cater for young at heart adventurous travellers ????

Fantastic chilled vibe layed back atmosphere, very clean ! staff very friendly and hospitable, I love the bar area, lots to do pool table and pleanty other fun games to play . The beautiful swimming pool .
Only 3min walk from the beaches and restaurants and bars.
I really recommend Mossel Bay backpackers !

Rooms are spacey and beds are comfy. Top bunk is very high up. Wi fi is not great, and as I was right near the front of the hostel I could hear a lot in the evening. Staff and other guests are friendly. Bathrooms are OK. Has a nice chilled vibe to it.

Nice location and really friendly staff, bar guy / chef was ace - excellent bbq skills and nice guy to chat too. He recommended we walked up to the lighthouse at night, well lit and a great view as the coast is flood lit too. Recommend this place, great value per night also.
