No matter the project your doing, Toucan Materiaal u0026 Wol has it all. Wool, buttons, fabrics needles, ribbons, upholstery material, crochet, knitting... I could go on but the list seems endless. Plus they have a fantastic craft section for all those DIY'ers. And to top it all off hubby can come with an wait at the coffee shop while us lady's shop till we drop ????. The most friendly and helpful staff are also thier to assist in finding, cutting or assisting with materials for your task. This is by far the best material shop that I've ever been privileged to shop at. Ten out of ten, would recommend to anyone and everyone!!!!

I bought Dutch lace to compliment my study's curtains. They gave me a telephone number of a lady who will prepare it ready for hanging.
The sales lady who assisted me is very knowledgeable.
They have everything one needs in the line of fabric.
Ample parking.

This shop has a huge variety of wool available. They also have a massive selection of material and other craft related tools (knitting needles etc).
I really liked the fact that there is a coffee shop inside this shop. I was visiting with my mother so I had coffee while she shopped for wool.

The service at the coffee shop inside of Toucan is excellent. The waitress who work there is very nice.
Please be so kind as to tip the waitress, if ever you go and drink coffee there.
She works very hard for a very small salary, and no one ever tips her.
She really is a lovely person, and sometimes the customers who come in there treat her very disrespectfully, she is a kind person who does not deserve this.

For crafters in the area it's very valuable as one of the only two shops that cater for this market. Wide variety. A bit pricey but understandable. My shop of choice when pushed for time. Update: June 2022. Shop upgraded with more choice on the material side. Wool and crafts still a large choice and variety. Most people will find what they are looking for.

what a lovely experience. Everything that you can think of under one roof. There is even a coffee shop inside for the quick cup before you browse further.

Now this is must go to if you're a sewing fanatic. They have so many beautiful materials, they even have all kinds of accessories for different sewing ideas
