Absolutely stunning place. We loved staying here so much we booked an extra night but even then didn't want to leave. We stayed in the lover's nest and opening our curtains to a view of the mountain and river every morning was idyllic. We loved all the friendly animals (dogs, goats, donkeys, cats, meerkats, etc). The Braiii was amazing as well, asking for it in the morning and they prepped all the food for us ready to be cooked by 6pm. Delicious!

Beautiful gem outside Oudtshoorn. Enjoyed a relaxing weekend and received a lot of attention from rescue dogs, cats etc. Highly recommended for romantic getaway or weekend with family/friends.

We wanted to book here for accommodation, but we were too late. We did however stop there to see what we missed out on, and WOW! What an amazing place! Will most certainly book well in advance for next season. This is probably what heaven would look like.

Beautiful place, between mountains and river.. And a whole lot of animals
If you want peace and quiet, this is it.

This was the most amazing holiday I have ever been on. The hospitality from staff and animals were exponentially better than any other experience I've had in South Africa. We fell in love with a jack Russel named "tequila" and would 5 star recommend cango retreat

Beautiful resort. If you looking for something peaceful this is definitely something you should go for. The river is absolutely stunning
