A recent business trip to Oudtshoorn had me scrambling for a place to stay after my usual spot, I say usual but I last visit Oudtshoorn in 2018, could not accommodate the full stay. I opted for Karoo Sun Boutique Guest house instead. Flying into George followed by an hour’s drive to Oudtshoorn, I was met at the door by a very friendly hostess and quickly shown to my room. The room was spacious, clean and had all the necessary and few extras! A lovely large bathroom with bath and shower complimented the room...and I did not even get to the balcony overlooking the inviting pool and tastefully decorated garden yet! Breakfast was served on time in the morning and there really as nothing I could fault. Thanks Karoo Sun...I will be back!

They offer great service and good food and it was worth every cent, if you ever find yourself in Oudtshoorn, make sure you book your room at Karoo sun!!! ????????

the best service in the world! the family room is huge and has all the comforts.. and the biggest bath tub ever! the guest house is beautiful with an awesome pool and a wonderful garden surrounded by beautiful lemon trees. but the reason I say it is the best service ever, is the host! Hermien is just amazing! she truly made us feel at home since the very beginning. since the booking was made, she was so kind and acommodating. She went the extra mile to make our two toddlers happy and to make us relax. she just knew what would work and was proactive in delivering so we never even have to ask, she made smiley faces with the fruit salad, had the widest variety of kids friendly food and toys, all combined with creativity and genuine generosity. oh wait, there is more. we asked where in town we could get some cupcakes for our son's birthday, just said "no worries", and baked and decorated the most awesome cake for him, with candles and a personalized card! Wow! Better than a grandma! ???????????? we wish we could just stay here forever!

We had an excellent stay with Reinhardt and Hermien. They accommodated us with great care, breakfast was top notch and the room spacious and clean. A real gem.
