Good food, reasonably priced. We had the Karoo Sliders, venison, ostrich and beef. Friendly service.

Nice setting but food has lots of room for improvement. They should rather increase prices and decrease size of menu if needed to offer better quality meals. Couldn't even eat more than half of my steak. Only restaurant open on a Sunday. Milkshake was fantastic though!

We were at Karoopot on Friday evening, nice outside and inside setting. Waiter were on the ball, and friendly. I Had the lovely Ostrich burger with chips. I will recommend it to any first timer in Oudshoorn. You will be heavily surprised with the size and juiciness of it. Prices are very reasonable.

We stayed at the Queen Hotel, across the road from KarooPot. After a disaster at another restaurant (name will not be mentioned)) we went to Karoo Pot. The owner, the waiter and the other staff were all very friendly and helpful. The portions are really more than enough and the prices are very very good. Good old fashion home cooking, and great atmosphere with the fireplace going. There is no need to search for another eatery when in Oudtshoorn..... This is the place

It's ok. Milkshakes are ok but they were out of thick straws so couldn't really enjoy mine through the super skinny straw I was given.
Starter of cheesy garlic bread took longer than it should have - especially since it was absolutely done in the microwave!
Food was ok.. steak was overdone but ribs were nice and meaty but missed to give my chips with the takeaway. Calamari was nice but missed to give tarter cause with takeaway.

Family of six went for lunch all the way from the Eastern Cape and Gauteng and WOW, the food (and the strawberry milkshakes) were beyond great. Thank you for great food, drinks and service. We loved our time there
