I had the pleasure of staying over at Welgeluk Feather Palace on a holiday back to South Africa from New Zealand. I can without reservation say on behalf of us all (including my sisters and mom) we had the most memorable and hospitable couple of days with Stan and Bernadette. The rooms are movie-sets, beds are to die for and breakfast on each day was an indulgent treat. Thank you for these indelible memories.

It was an absolut pleasure to stay at Welgeluk Feather Palace! Both of the owners were so kind and the breakfast was really amazing! The room was stunning and especially the bathroom was really nice! If we come back to South Africa, we will definately stay at this guesthouse again! :)

When you walk into Welgeluk Feather Palace it feels like taking a trip back into time. This lush early 1900's home is beautifully decorated with antiques from all over the world. Rooms are spacious and tastefully designed. Stan and Bernadette are wonderful hosts and make you feel a part of their family. The homemade breakfast is also a true treat. Even the full 5 stars don't do it justice.

Had wonderful 3 days at WFP. If you have the opportunity to visit Oudtshoorn - you Must come to WFP. In 3 words: felt so Home, Provided and Calm!

If I was able to I would rate them 5000 stars - 5 stars doesn't quite do it! What a fabulous place to stay, hospitality beyond anyone's expectations. We will definitely be staying in this wonderful palace again.

Stunning place to stay, wonderful hospitality from the family in their magnificent home, not only were the breakfasts and room stunning, but they made us feel like we were part of the family. I cannot rave enough about our stay. Thank you so so much.

One of those hidden gems. By far one of the best Bu0026B’s I’ve stayed at. Clean, good breakfast, AWESOME bed, spacious rooms.
