We had such a lovely time at Mooiplaas, went for 2 nights and it was amazing. The staff is friendly and the place is very warm and welcoming. The view is beautiful and the nature around it puts your mind at peace. We had a ostrich tour and Ben the amazing guide made it so fun and informative. The superman John was extremely helpful during our stay and an amazing waiter. The staff at the place makes you so happy that you would definitely return.

I loved staying at Mooiplaas. One of my favourite places I stayed at in South Africa. The staff is soooo nice! Especially the waiters in the morning and evening are most welcoming, respectful, friendly, etc, etc. They made us feel super welcome.

The ostrich farm tour the Guest House offers is definitely worth it! You'll learn so much about the ostriches and it'll be in a small group. The tour guide knows so much and can answer all of your questions. I learned so much during the tour. I would choose this tour over a show farm any day. The guide will also be chef if you decide to have dinner at the guest house, which is pretty cool.

The dinner is absolutely to die for! I have never had ostrich in my life and it tasted amazing. On the side were some lovely potatoes and veggies. The desserts were also very nice. Do eat here at least one night while you're staying at the guest house.

The rooms are also very beautiful. Comfy beds and even a bath!

This must be one of the best places I stayed at. Warm, friendly, welcoming, accommodating and efficient from beginning to end. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. The room was clean and it came with a separate kitchen area with a microwave oven and fridge. My son was happy there was a smart tv and we could use our own subscriptions. On the first morning the waiter (John) saw me reading outside at 7.30am and promptly brought me a fresh cup of coffee. He called me by name. He had practiced it before hand! I asked for an iron and the lady took my clothes to iron them herself. Service was exceptional.
We required a halaal meal and they accommodated us with making our eggs separately to order. The pool was clean and amazing.
An overall great and memorable experience. Highly recommend staying here when in Oudtshoorn.

Best service I have experienced in SA so far.
The staff is friendly, observing and well trained. This is a 4-Star guest house that feels 5-star. The rooms were well presented and clean. The overall experience was phenomenal and I would highly recommend spending at least 3 days to fully enjoy all of the activities.
Big thanks to Marshal for his friendly services he made our stay memorable for sure.

We went through our photo book from our trip to SA in 2012 and this place definitely holds the best memories. Andre was such a great host and added a whole new level to enthusiasm, service and entertainment. Looking forward to going back to SA and Mooiplaas gueshouse.

One of the most memorable weekends of our family's lives! Fantastic food. Luxurious accommodation and exceptionally friendly, competent, helpful and considerate staff - from beginning to end. We relaxed and wish we never had to leave..we will be back soon, Mooiplaas family!
